President of Worthington Ag Parts and Director of Neil's Parts Australia!
I was born and raised in Worthington, MN. Played baseball in little league, junior high, high school and at Worthington Community College plus nine years on the amatuer team the Worthington Cubs. That is where I leanred team work. During my high school days and community college days I worked for Hy-vee Food stores for five years. That is where customer service was drilled into me at such an impressionable age. I used to take the summers off from Hy-Vee and work with my father who was a mason (brick, block and field stone), that is where I really learned the value of a hard days work. I attained my Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Southwest Minnesota State in Marshall, MN. My first real accounting job was with the public firm of Gerber and Haugen, auditing cooperative elevators throughout Minnesota, South Dakota and Iowa. I started with Worthington Ag Parts as a staff accountant in 1989 at the corporate office in Worthington, MN. In 1991 the corporate offices relocated to St. Charles, MO, so Karen (seven months pregnant) and I loaded up the bags and took a chance. I became the Chief Accountant at that time moved up later to System Manager (programming), Controller, Vice President and now the President of Worthington Ag Parts for the last seven years. I love this business because it's a good customer industry, farmers are good people and we have the best team here at Worthington Ag Parts. I love my family and my second family Worthington Ag Parts. If you need to know anything just ask!
Cheers!
