Ohio Farm Science Review

Good afternoon everyone!  I'm typing this in a field from the Ohio Farm Science Review Farm Show in London, Ohio.  It has been a beautiful week here, 80 degrees and sunny.  The show was very good.

It surprises me after being in business for 43 years the number of farmers that had never heard of us this week!  It tells me we have room to continue our growth in serving the farmer with quality parts.  Ohio here we come!  We handed out over 1400 catalogs and our catalog is the size of a Metropolitan phone book!

This marks the end of our outdoor farm show season.  The boys are tired but satisfied, what a great year!  A big thanks to Randy Mittlestadt and Carl Vande Weerd for a job well done.  The transition to Randy was smooth!  It's now time to start dreaming up ideas to move us up another level in 2008!  Thank you to everyone who had a hand in the farm shows this year.

Please remember Brad Eftink and his family in your prayers.  Brad was a former employee of Worthington Ag Parts and his home burnt to the ground this weekend.  Everything was a total loss.  Thankfully no one was injured in the blaze.  We are collecting money to forward to Brad and his family.  Worthington Ag Parts is going to match all money donated by our employees! 

Well the truck is getting loaded and I'm getting the "look" for not helping out!
