Worthington Ag Parts - President's Blog: October 2007

Greetings from The Sunbelt Ag Expo Farm Show, located in Moultrie, GA! The weather is a lot warmer than what this Minnesotan is used to this time of the year. The show runs from October 16th through the 18th! We have our normal show special of 10% off all product purchased at the show and free shipping!

This is the first time in eight years that we have displayed at this show. While the primary demographics of this customer is different than our other show locations we still offer a wide variety of parts to fulfill their needs. The other shows occur during and prior to the harvest. The smaller tractor is dominant in this area and we carry the parts in demand. The crowd has been heavy and we have had the opportunity to explain to them who we are and what we do for them - "Provide Solutions" to their tractor, combine, cotton picker and implement parts needs! We have distributed a large amount of catalogs! Here is picture of Albert "Skip" Leigh our Goldsboro, NC store manager, after a long day at the show! If you can't catch Skip at the store in Goldsboro, it's likely you'll find him on a pond fishing! Just to let you know Skip has a sign at home that reads "A fisherman lives here with a catch of a lifetime"! That would be referring to his lovely wife Nancy! Skip has three children and I believe his eighth grandchild is on the way! He has a wonderful family and truly is a valued member of our Worthington Ag Parts family! Skip is always good for a smile and a laugh!

Hello from our Canadian store in Niverville, Manitoba! Quite often we focus on just our U.S. operations but we have a very nice store in Niverville located 25 kilometers south of Winnipeg! The inventory crew is here today conducting our annual used inventory! The weather is a wet chilly 45 degrees farenheit! It's our 13th annual inventory at this location since we purchased Rempel Tractor Parts from Herman Rempel in April 1994!

This location was primarily a tractor yard when acquired by Worthington Ag Parts but since then we have added a signifcant amount of combines to become a one stop shop for our customers. While used parts are our core business we carry an extensive line of after market new parts for tractors and combines.
