It's Tuesday and I'm thinking it's just time to record some thoughts and events that have happened since the last time I blogged. I need to make more time to do this especially since my blogs will be real time on our new web site later this summer! We are still on schedule for a mid July release!
Things have been very busy here at Worthington Ag Parts. June is our big savings month -- has been for years! We are offering 15% off on all parts purchase for the month. If you need that new straw chopper, CIH rotor or that replacement engine now is the time to call. I recommend going through your combine and replacing the worn parts now while you can save big dollars! We have our full stock of combine parts ready for you that includes used, after-market new and re-manufactured! Act now while supplies last and prevent down time this fall!
The Capello corn head line continues to grow for us. We have signed on our first dealer Prokosch Repair in Redwood Falls, Minnesota. We have also updated the web site for corn heads www.capellousa.com. You can build your own corn head and get a suggested list quote, plus you can view informative videos on the product along being able to see a complete list of Capello dealers!
We will be conducting a field demo of the Capello corn head at the Farm Progress show in Boone, Iowa in late August along with displaying the corn head at various farm shows through the coming months. To see a list of the farm show Worthington Ag Parts will be attending click here! Jim and Steve Prokosch will be running their head on their combine, mark your calendars and see this state of the art corn head in action.
You can follow us now on Twitter at @worthingtonag or http://twitter.com/worthingtonag. Stay on top of our fresh salvage as it arrives that day. We also have facebook so be sure to ad us or become a fan! Social media it's here to stay just like Worthington Ag Parts so we might as well embrace it. In my opinion it helps your company have a personality and let everyone know we care.
I will be leaving later today for a farm show in Kiev, Ukraine. Colin my international sales manager and I will be visiting our valued customers along with taking in the different equipment used in the country and farming culture. I will try and blog a couple times while I am there along with uploading some Flip video from the show. You can follow my instant thoughts on Twitter @mtwinter or www.twitter.com/mtwinter.
That's it for now, until next time!
Cheers,
Mike Winter
